User posting to shared calendar does not show up in personal calendar.
Hello, I have a shared mailbox calendar that users are experiencing issues with. The issue does not happen every time, however it is happening to a few users. Scenerio: User (Ann) posts a meeting request to a shared calendar, she is the (organier). She send the request to 3 people. The calendar will proceede to book the time and send out the requests. When (Ann) looks in her personal calendar, the meeting request in there. Not sure what the timing is, but what happens is that (Ann's) personal calendar drops the meeting request, all other users still see the meeting request in their calendars. Then when (Ann) looks at the shared calendar, the meeting request is still there and she is the organizer. (Ann) cannot reschedule or cancel the meeting. Permissions: Default = Author; Write (create items) (Edit own); Read (Full Details); Delete items (Own) There are 5 users identifed with Editor permissions: Write (Create Items) (Edit all); Read (Full Details); Delete items (All). All uers who have been invited have the same permission as the (Ann)originater (Default). Thanks for your help,

When Ann posts the meeting into the shared calendar, if she is not inviting herself, she will not have the meeting on her personal calendar. As for why she can't update her meeting, if the permissions granted on the shared calendar do not allow updates, she won't be able to update her meeting. I suggest that you have her create the meeting on HER OWN calendar and INVITE the shared resource. This ensures she will have access to the meeting on her calendar and that she will be able to update it.
