Users are not seeing Calendar item created
I have a user on Outlook 2007 trying to create a calendar item from a public folder. She is able to create the calendar but other users are not seeing the same item. I had her logged onto 2 different workstations to create the item but having the same result. We are on Exchange 2003 sp2. User has correct permission to the public folder. Any suggestions? TIA, tntrac

How many public folder servers do you have? Perhaps the update hasn't replicated to the other folder. I recommend that you use a mailbox for shared calendars since the function in Outlook is much better, or consider SharePoint.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

If you mean the back end exchange servers, we have 5, but only 2 are really in production. We moved all the mailboxes off the other 3.

Thanks, but what matters is how many of them have public folder databases.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Hi , Please test in OWA and Outlook 2003, verify if the result is same. Please logon the OWA use the problematic account and verify if the public calendar have been created. Please run the following cmdlet and post here. Get-PublicFolder -Identity "\" Recurse Get-PublicFolderClientPermission -Identity "\pulicfoldername" | fl View Public Folder Client Permissions Settings: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123881.aspxWendy Liu TechNet Community Support
