I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question so if someone knows of a better place for it let me know or move it to the correct place. We need to come up with a solution to give some of our users access to term/retired employees mail without having the ability for that user to send mail on the behalf of the term/retired employee; or just giving them read-only access to the mail. We are kind of new to Exchange and we have tried to just take the .pst from the server as we are running cached exchange mode. The problem with this is if you take the .pst and burn it to DVD you then have to copy the .pst to the HDD and then open it from Outlook. Even if the mailbox has already been deleted along with the AD account, could someone still send mail on that persons behalf using that .pst? What is the best way of doing this to let users have read-only access to a mail file? Is there a best practice or a technet article to go by? David Hood
