VSS Backup is taking more time
Hi All,
Just I am digging with an issue of Exchange 2007 CCR backup taking much time (double than before). Till now i have checked from storage side, FC card side, Switch side and did not find any clue.
I was suspecting online maintenance issue as it did not pass every time as my one full backup start at 2;30 Am (online maintenance time : 1-5 AM). one day i change backuop time and let ran online maintenance then same day backup ran well but again it came
in old stage. No any performance issue occure in sevrer any time.
I will move cluster node to oter node to check if any issue from storage side, but if anyone of you have encounter this kind of issue then please share with me.
My Environment:
CCR node with 48 GM memory, HP DP VSS backuop from passive node
ThanksAnil

The VSS backup itself can't take long because 'the rules' call for the process to be abandoned and the application thawed if it takes longer than the time specified for the application. What is probably taking the time is the process
of getting the blocks off that disk and onto wherever you need them. However, you need to tell us more about your storage platform and what application you're using.
