When I reinstall the Visio standard 2013 I encountered the below error message.

"Error 1402. Setup cannot open the registery key  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE32\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\InternetExplorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_FILEDOWNLOAD."  Verifify that you have....."

I am using Windows 8.1 Pro with Office 2013 Home & Business.  Can anyone know how to get it work?

Hi,

Since the error message, error 1402 is an access rights error. To workaround this issue, we need to allow every user the ability to change the registry keys. Please try to use administrative permission account and then re-install.
