The W3WP.exe is associated with web services of exchange application. Restart the associated services at CAS and HUB servers : IIS and W3WP and check it againRegards from ExchangeOnline | Windows Administrator's forums

Hello, Following the MaU PhiliPs suggestion. Besides, please verify the frequency of the issue happening and if there is any antivirus or any other third party application ? If so, please disable and check the result. Best Regards, Lisa

Hi Velu, What is the version of Exchange? How frequent the issue happens? and if you see the W3wp.exe is consuming the High CPU, let me know what is the IIS Worker process. How to find the IIS Worker process http://abhijitjana.net/2010/07/15/identifying-worker-process-w3wp-exe-iis-6-0-and-iis-7-0-for-debugging-asp-net-application/ It will show, the PID of the process and to which IIS Application pool it is associated to. Then you can concentrate on that particular component. Let me know if this helps. S.A. Jones | Exchange 2003/2007/2010 | Remember to Mark as Answer if this Helps
