Greeting People New to WDS (Windows Deployment Services) and having some fun time as usual. Server 2003 SP2 installed WDS for me (without my concent or requirements, can't seem to get back good-old-just-work RIS). First thing first: 1) How do you capture an Image? I have XP SP2 installed along with software, ready to be captured. In RIS you go to \\REMINST\Admin\i386\and run RIPREP.exe and take it on from there. What is the equivilant in WDS? 2) How do I get my existing RIS images to work with WDS? Clients do not pick up RIS server. 3) Any good step by step anywhere? Like they have for RIS.
