I need to create a wavy line in Visio 2010 similar to one of the two below

To make matters a little worse, I need it to act like a line with extension points, but retain the pattern as the line is lengthened/shortened.  I thought I could take a regular, straight line with extension and somehow distort it, but I am unable to retain the pattern on extension. 

This has turned out to be a real brain teaser for me.  I would dearly appreciate any help.

I've beat this site to death, but still unable to come up with an answer.   I appreciate the suggestion, though. 

Chris' site has a lot more user-developed content than what is typically offered on the MS sites.
