What IP
Hello, I use Exchange 2007 and a user could not receive a mail sent from gmail account (Recipient not authorized, your IP has been found on a block list). I have tried to send an email from my gmail account and it came through. I would like to know how I would be able to know with which IP the user tried to reach our servers. How do you proceed to check that information up? Graig

Are you using black lists on your server? Is this an internal or external user who didn't receive the message? While they may be sending the email from a GMAIL address, they may not be using GMAIL as their outbound email server. If you are using the native blacklist capability then the default location for the logs are here: C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\TransportRoles\Logs\AgentLog However if you are using another product to do blacklist lookup you will need to look at their application. Not really enough information to go on. If the sender is getting bounced with a blacklist then they need to investigate why. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources | In the UK? Hi, You can check the IIS log to know client IPs, user accounts, server ports and so on. By default, it is located in ‘%systemroot%\system32\logfiles\w3svc1\’ (for example, ‘C:\WINDOWS\system32\LogFiles\W3SVC1’) and there is a log per day. After you open IIS log files, the parameter ‘c-ip’ represents the IP of clients. Hope this helps.
