What SAN in Exchange certificate

Exchange 2013 SP1; initial deployment, new server

I created the certificate through Godaddy and they told me that there could be no .local domains in the certificate. I ran the scripts to make internal and external URLs the same, e.g. mail.mydomain.com

during the certificate request, it had additional domains listed. I deleted the .local and the server name exc2013

Now when I try to create an exchange outlook account, I get security alert on mail.mydomain.com. The issue is the name on the certificate is invalid of does not match the name of the site. How do I resolve this. the certificate name is correct. Should the server name be included in the certificate?

The certificate has domains:

owa.mydomain.com

mail.mydomain.com

autodiscover.mydomain.com

mydomain.com

If I proceed, I get error connection to exchange is unav

I tracked the bad certificate to an old, non-Exchange 2013 one I used in SBS2008. This was corrected and I can create and use the outlook account via Exchange 2013.

Thanks
