What action reset the authenticated user on Folders
an issues has arise and someoen in the organisation is looking for someone to blame. I discuver last week on 2 servers in my organisation (Might be more) The AUTHENCATED USER is set on more than a 1000 private folders, where only the owner should be allow
to access. With the authenticated User allow all to be able to view other home folders, I trace it to the root of the server, My question is what could be the cause of a Authencated user been reset, else than a Human intevention to push it.. I think,
manual load balancing, Moving folder from server to server, Pathes apply to the Servers Etc, Do anyone would be able to point me to a list of some kind of all the possible probabilities..Thanks

Dear
Is the issue related to exchange? I would like to suggest you post the thread in the windows server block. Thanks!

I agree with the other reply; you should post this in a general Windows server group.
That said, if you have auditing enabled sufficient to track this, and don't have multiple users sharing admin accounts, you should be able to find out what happened & when. I am suspecting that someone may have enabled inheritance on child folders
from the parent settings.Lanwench ** Do not fold, spindle or mutilate. Fill in the box completely and erase any stray marks. Use only a #2 pencil.
