How do they differ from standard user and resource mailboxes?

Hi Mike, Equipment mailboxes is one type of resource mailboxes. Resource mailboxes are assigned to resource, stand user mailbox is assigned to individual user. Thats their main different. There are two types of resource mailboxes in Microsoft Exchange Server 2007: room and equipment. Room mailboxes are assigned to a meeting location, such as a conference room, auditorium, or training room. About standard user mailbox: A mailbox that is assigned to an individual user in your Exchange organization. If you want to display conference room mailboxes, select Recipient Type Details, select Equals, and then select Conference Room Mailbox.
