WhenChanged
Hello,
I use Exchange 2007 and I follow the below link to create edgesubscription:
http://searchexchange.techtarget.com/generic/0,295582,sid43_gci1262396,00.html
After I did the manipulation I checked the edgesubcription on the edge:
I ran the below command yesterday:
[PS] C:\>Get-EdgeSubscription | fl
Site :
Domain : company.com
IsValid : True
OriginatingServer : localhost
Name : EDGE01
WhenChanged : 08/09/2010 17:00:29
WhenCreated : 26/03/2008 13:13:37
and ran that one few mn ago:
[PS] C:\>Get-EdgeSubscription | fl
Site :
Domain : company.com
IsValid : True
OriginatingServer : localhost
Name : EDGE01
WhenChanged : 09/09/2010 09:28:48
WhenCreated : 26/03/2008 13:13:37
I wonder why the WhenChanged has changed and would like to know when it would expired.
Many thanks,
Graig

Okay thanks.
But how do I know when it will be expired?

Hi Graiggoriz,
From the Technet:
EdgeSync synchronization occurs at the following intervals:
1,Configuration Data is scheduled to be synchronized at one hour intervals.
2,Recipient Data is scheduled to be synchronized at four hour intervals.
3,Topology Data is reloaded every 5 minutes.

So if you modify the configuration, the WhenChanged will be changed. And if you run the cmdlet
Start-EdgeSynchronization on the HUB, the value will be changed immediately.
You can find ralated Event when it will be expired in the Event Viewer.
eg:
The internal transport certificate has expired
