Why the Exchange Server 2007 transaction log partition gets full easily ?
Hi All, Is there any way to identify what could be the root cause of this problem and how to rectify this to prevent the disk getting full ? I'm having problem in one of the partition of the Exchange Server 2007 SP 2 transaction log, it is installed on my Windows Server 2008 with the configuration as CCR. in one of the storage group, the transaction log partition goes drastically low (from 30 GB into 0 KB in just over the weekend period) when the backup missed just one day thus rendering the whole mailbox on that Storage group inaccessible. Any comments and suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks./* Server Support Specialist */

Please confirm if there’s any third party software on the exchange server, I've seen similar issues that are caused by the third party software on the exchange server Please refer the article below to troubleshoot the issue, especially the step h Troubleshooting Exchange 2007 Store Log/Database growth issues James Luo TechNet Subscriber Support in forum If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. The only 3rd party is just Symantec Anti Virus and the Symantec Backup software./* Server Support Specialist */
