You have two options... Take backup of full mailbox database (including all user mailboxes of a database) with NTBackup since brick level (user level) backup is not possible with NTBackup. Exchange 2003 Backup and Restore with NTBACKUP http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Exchange-2003-Backup-Restore-NTBACKUP.html Export the mailbox content to PST using ExMerge and save PST file at safe place.
