All the tutorials say that the IIS 7 is configured to immediately allow traffic through port 80. I installed Windows 2008 Server Web Edition and default settings are not registering my sites. When I test the settings under basic settings for sites an Authorization error appears. The Server is configured to use pass-through authentication with a built in account to access the specified path.

Ron, try posting this in the Windows Server 2008 forums. That might get you quicker results.
