Windows 2008 cluster & CCR
Hello Just a quick question: Are there any major problems with creating a Windows 2008 enterprise cluster then installing 2007 ent and creating a ccr cluster for exchange or is this bad practice, should I have a 4 server solutionrather than 2 ? Thanks for any help / advice John

Per my knowledge, they are a great combination: Windows Server 2008 + Exchange Server 2007 SP1, itll provide a number of benefits to an enterprise. I think that you would get the idea from the article below; it also lists the Exchange-related incompatibility with Windows Server 2008: http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2008/03/05/448338.aspx As for 4 server solution than 2, do you mean SCC about 4 server solution? Heres an article that describe the advantages of CCR over SCC: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997928(EXCHG.80).aspx Notes: SCC will consume less disk space, but it just has one copy of data. If Disk-Array got malfunction, the Service will be offline
