Hey, occasionally I am working on my computer and it just shuts down. No notice, no alert, blue screen, nothing but operation lights and screen shut down... one of the fastest shutdowns, unlike a manual requested shutdown. Power connection light is the only
light on, and remains on. Sometimes it requires a short wait period before the power-on button works, but usually works immediately and the computer starts normally without any evidence of a shut-down except for the "critical" log entry in the event viewer
for that moment of shut-down.
THere it is. When it reboots the same old Adobe Flash Update screen hangs up desk top slightly and applications must be restarted. Very few ever lose data upon restart however. Menu screens usually appear requiring okay to rebuild last open file. The browsers
re-assemble tabs of URLs.
What work is lost is usually quite insignificant, thank you Microsoft for that.
