Windows Server 2008 Firewall
Hello
Just a little question to the "new" Windows Server 2008 Firewall. Which Port do I've to open, for getting Exchange Server 2007 to work perfectly? Right now, in the test phase I get once the message in the EMC
Code SnippetThe task was not able to connect to IIS on the server 'NAME'. Ensure that the server exists and is reachable from this computer: The RPC server is unavailable.
Example, do I've to configure something for Port 135(RPC)?
Thanks for you a feedback!

Hi Norbert,
When you run Security Configuration Wizard for Exchange 2007, it automatically takes care about the firewall port blocking.
Select Exchange2007_WinSrv2008.xml file while following below procedure on Windows 2008.

Hello Amit
thanks a lot for your help. I will use the following command on my servers:
Code Snippetscwcmd register /kbname:Ex2007KB /kbfile:"%programfiles%\Microsoft\Exchange Server\scripts\Exchange2007_WinSrv2008.xml"
Could this have a negativ impact on my servers? Do I have to use a different switch on CAS, HT or Clustered Mailbox Servers?
ThanksNorbert

No Norbert, it basically opens all the service and ports executables for all roles of Exchange (except Edge). Refer below article for further details on the list of services & ports.

Just to clarify - when I did the import as I wrote above, do I have to do anything else? Start a Wizard or something like this?
Thanks
