Windows Small Business Server 2008 Exchange 2007 Help with recivecing and sending email.
I need help with setting up my exchange server to do email. I have a domain from godaddy and I need to make sure that the exchange server does send and recivece email.
I have the domain pointed to the Ip address of the domain. I purchased it from Godaddy.

I've done a basic guide for Exchange 2010, it's almost the same for Exchange 2007

I don't think you can easily put EVERYTHING you need to do in order to set this up, but in a nutshell:
Externally:
- Create DNS record for Mail.domain.com (or whatever you want to call your mail server)
- Create an MX record for mail.domain.com
- Have your ISP create a reverse DNS lookup pointing the proper IP to mail.domain.com
Internally:

Now I get this error during the install process for exchange server 2010.
"The folling error occurred when search for on-premises exchage server: [speedyturtle.speedyturtlecomputers.net] connecting to remote server failed with the following error message: tThe WinRm Client sent a request to an http server and got a response saying
the reqeuested http url was not available. This usually returned by a Http server that desnot support the ws-management protocol. for infomaton see the about_remote_truobleshooting help topic. it wa runnin the command disvocer-exchangeServer -useWIA $true
-suppressError $true'."
Any ideas?
