Hello! I'm new to this forum, but not new to pc's. For quite sometime now, I've been unable to update my Windows Vista with SP1 which came that way when purchased. I have downloaded the fixit tool and it does absolutely nothing to repair this. The error number is...80070490. I don't want our pc disabled due to bad advice from this and that. I need advice that will successfully take care of this as we do not download very much from the Net. Only that which we believe and are assured is truly safe.
