Windows home server Remote access problems
I have been trying to set up Windows Home Server with remote access to no avail. I am using an apple air port extreme wireless n router. This router does not support unpn so I have manually set up an exception to the DHCP giving my server the address 10.0.1.9 everytime it is booted up. I then created three port forwarding exceptions in the NAT section to forward ports 80, 443, and 4125. As far as I can tell this should have done the job but it hasn't. I then changed the access on the router to a timed access and added the Mac address of the server to this at all times allowing it access (which I am unsure of what this does). This allowed thedomain nameto be created but the I was still unable to get it to recognize the router as set up. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Shawn
