Hi: I am wondering ifthere is a complete list of which Windows platform is supported by Exchange 2007, and when will the support be available? For example, is Windows Vista going to be supported? and is there an estimated time for that? Thanks in advance. Jack

Exchange Server 2007 requires the 64-bit version of Windows Server 2003 SP1 or Windows Server 2003 R2. Windows Vista is a client-side version of Windows, so you won't be able to run Exchange Server on that platform. Windows Server codenamed Longhorn will not be supported at Exchange 2007 RTM, but we will add support for it in a post-RTM service pack (no idea which one). For the Management Tools (Exchange Management Shell and Exchange Management Console), we will support Windows XP Pro SP2 at RTM, and Windows Vista at SP1 for Exchange 2007. Hope this helps.

The Exchange 2007 Server Beta 2 has a 32-bit beta version. Does this mean it will be supported at 32-bit as well as 64-bit (x64 performance benefits aside of course)? Thanks.

At RTM, Exchange Server 2007 will only be supported in production environments when the x64 version of Exchange2007 is installed on a computer with x64-compatible processors that is running an x64 edition of WindowsServer2003. The 32-bit version is not, and will never be, supported for production environments.
