I think I have a corrupt template. I have followed advice of renaming a template and when I first open it, type, I can save it. The moment I reopen it and amend and press save I get a Microsoft Word Messgae stating: Word cannot complete the save due to a file permission error. Please advise as I'm at a loss at what to do.

Where is this Word template stored? Is it on your local driver or on a network shared folder? Does this only happens with that specific template?

After you've modified the file, please try to use the "Save As" button to save it to a different location and see if it works.

Also, make sure you have sufficient user permissions to modify any file on that location.
