Word and Excel File saving problem in Office 2007

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have installed MS Office 2007 in my computers in my office and working in a LAN environment.

When I try to save a word or excel file from my LAN PC to main PC it takes a several times to save it.

I have tried so many times to repair it though the same problem continues. Some times it takes around 5 minutes to save a document on main PC from LAN connected PC.

Please help on the said issue.

Hi,

Did this issue only occur with Office suits? Have you tried with other files, such as Notepad?

Please try this method:

Disable SMB2 on the server that holds the share.  To do so:

Add a REG_DWORD entry named Smb2 with a value of 0 to
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters
