I am having Win 8.1  and office 2010 in my laptop When i open a word file and type something and proceed for save the file..The error shows windows stops the programme. I m unable to save the word file..this happens only with word file..File name shows New Word file (recovered)...Help me to resolve this problem....

According your description, you have encountered this issue: Word 2010 crashes/hangs when saving files and you might get a error "Word has stop working". It might be caused by some factor, please try the follow methods:

One:

Delete the Word Data registry key and check if youre able to save documents. The steps below would help you deleting the registry key.

1)   Exit all Office programs.

2)   Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run

3)   Locate the following registry sub key:

                 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft \Office\14.0\Word\Data

4)   ClickData, and then click Export on the File menu.

5)   Name the fileWddata.reg, and then save the file to the desktop.

6)   ClickDelete on the Edit menu, and then clickYes.

7)   Exit Registry Editor.

8)   Start Word.

Two:

Disable all the add-ons, especially send to bluetooth add-on.

If this issue still exists, we can go to collect the event log and check if there is any error logged.
