Wrong Time Zone - Wrong Time Stamp
Hi, I have a problem with one of our exchange servers. We had a problem that occured everytime we logged in on a new owa account. It displayed the wrong time zone, it showed +2h heklsinki as suggestion. We wanted it to show +1h stockholm as default. I found the problem on one of our exchange servers was configured wrong, it used the helsinki time zone. So I changed it to stockholm time zone. After that it worked when I logged on to the owa, it displayed +1h stockholm. Now to the problem. Every mail the is now sent from the server shows the wrong "sent time" - sent time stamp it displays -1h wrong. Exactly the time zone difference. How is that? I've searched for an answer without luck. Hoping you can help me./Fredrik

Hi Frody, Did you try to reset the time zone directly from OWA (option->time zone setting)? :)

Hi, I don't understand? As I said I changed time zone on the server, when I connected to the owa with a new account it showed the correct settings. The probem is mail that our users are sending through that specific exchange server I'v changed the settings on shows wrong tíme stamp. So it isn't a specifix owa problem it is a time problem on the server.Am I thinking wrong?

Log it with user account that has this problem... I'm not an expert too... but I've read that if the first connection to OWA on a different country it takes the time zone setting... so maybe if you reset it directly from OWA it'd resolve your problem... anyway you can try and see if it can help you. :)

Ok I understand. I don't want to fool around anymore with the tim until I'm sure of a solution. I've set back the time on the server to +2h and it is now correct time stamps on mail again. I'm a bit skeptical on your suggestion so I'l try searching on the web a bit more.Thanx for your effort.
