Wrong time date showing in Exchange Connect Logs.
I have an issue with the logs in the connectivity folder that show SMTP connections. Even though the time/date and time zone are correct on my Exchange server, the date seems to be off in these logs. In some cases it's using the next days date. Makes troubleshooting difficult. Has anyone ever seen this or know a fix? I am running Exchange 2007 SP1 on Server 2008. Thanks in advance. The time is recorded in GMT. While you may think it make things difficult you probably never had to track messages across mulitple machines in multiple time zones. Recording the time in GMT (or UCT) makes sense. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

That Z on the end of the time means "Zulu" or UCT or GMT. Now does that make the times correct? -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." .
