about transport rules

Hi ,

We are using exchange server 2013 and hosted 2 email domains.

1. xyz.com

2. pqr.com

We have created a signature , which attach automatically , when we are sending emails from any of our domain user account , from xyz.com or from pqr.com

Now , I have one more account , which is configured in my microsoft outlook ( which is not hosted with my exchange server ) ,and I want to create a custom rule ,such as if i am sending email from that account ( john@hello.com ) , it should attach a custom signature everytime , and do not attach the default signature ( which is designed for xyz.com )..

I search and found its not possible to create a custom signature rule , for a domain which is not hosted under the exchange server , so i want to know , is it possible to create such type of signature or transport rule inside the outlook..

thank you..

Mostly outlook rule is applied for receiving mails not sending

You can create separate signature under different name, select that signature before sending email.

Hope this info helps.

Hi,

Since that account is not hosted in your Exchange, settings on your Exchange should not apply to that account.

Its easy to create a custom signature in Outlook.

Add a signature to messages
