I am working on a vb.net 2010 application that was originally using Access 2000 as the database. Now the application will be using Access 2013 instead. Thus can you tell me if there are difference between Access 2000 and Access 2013?

In original application using Access 2000, everything worked fine. Now I am getting a 'type' mistmatch error. Thus can you tell me what the difference are between the 2 databases? Are there database types that are deprecated and need to be converted to a different database type?

Thus can  you tell me what the differences are and/or point me to links (url) that will tell me what the differences are?
