Hi I have a sbs 2003 server running exchange but not configured to normal ports of 80 and 443 instead it is listening 82 444. I want to connect active sync on the mobile phone but it will not work using the url we use for web outlook. I have done this with another server that is configured to normal ports and that worked fine. What can I change or what ports does the mobile phone work with? I can connect to weboutlook by adding the 444 port to the url so it is accessable through firewall. Either get error code 7 or 157 depending what address i put in. I have a hp mobile using 2003 and have tried some url settings on a new ph but will not connect either. I have done this on another server but using default ports. Any ideas

Check in your HTTP protocol logs and see if you are seeing any ActiveSync connections in the logs. first thing to eliminate is whether or not a connection is getting to the server or not.
