Hello,
I have an odd Activesync issue. I have gone through
the remote connectivity analyzer and get this following error/warnings:
https://domain.com:443/Autodiscover/Autodiscover.xml
Testing of this potential Autodiscover URL failed.
Testing the SSL certificate to make sure it's valid.
The SSL certificate failed one or more certificate
validation checks.
The SSL certificate failed one or more certificate
validation checks.
The problem is that our public root domain (i.e.
www.domain.com) is hosted by an external company and the SSL cert on their site is tied to their org.
The SSL cert on the actual server/directory used
for active sync (i.e. owa.domain.com) is legit and passes all of the tests run by the remote connectivity analyzer.
However the new users phone fails to connect because
of the SSL mismatch at the root domain. Other users (pre-existing) can add their accounts to the new users phone without issue!
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Hi chaz,
Thank you for your question.
Please post entire error information for our troubleshooting (Include testing step and additional details).
We could also contact Exchange administrator in root domain to check if there is the same issue for new user. if not, we could renew the certificate for Exchange CAS server which is located at your own company to check if the issue persist.
If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.
Best Regard,
Jim
