Thanks James Luo , you are a great exchange support , maybe you need the 5 medal... :)I know this procedures , maybe the problem was that microsoft need protect the public folder ,for thatnobody can delete with a simple mouse click.Sorry by my english. Now i have 2 frontends with public folders (content only system folders) but , the procedure say you that you need replicate this sytem folders to the any server"To move the public folder replicas to another Exchange server that has a public folder store, right-click the public folder store you want, and then click Move All Replicas"Question: The system folders in the frontendwas replicated the last time was in JUne 2008 .now replication is off. Then , what happend if i replicate frontend PF system folders (older data ) over backendPF system folders (recent) ? I think this is not a good procedure , maybe can you lost any data and problem for exchange ?.The second option is Adsiedit , but later in the event vierwerwhen exchange make the process offline by night , have errors about that no exists frontend replication servers.....Regardsmcse 200 + mesaging

Replicated the last time was in JUne 2008 .now replication is off You mean theres no replication for the system folders on both Front End (FE) servers, please confirm that a. Please launch EMS b. AG>FE server>Public store>Public Folder Instances c. In the right-pane, right-click system folders, select Folder Properties d. In the Replication tab, check if theres other server listed Since you do not want to replicate, the way would be to remove all public folder instances on the public stores of two FEs Notes: Backup the store first Notes: We must make sure that two FEs dont contain site folder, which maintain copies of the offline address list and the free and busy data for that administrative group. To verify that, we just need to confirm that SiteFolderServer attribute dont point to the public store on the FEs [Procedure]. a. Still use EMS, in the FEs Public Folder Instances node b. In the right-pane, find the Folder Path column, remember the paths of system folders c. Expand AG>Folders>Public Folders, right-click Public Folders, select Connect to, choose FE servers, click OK d. Find those system folders which listed in the Public Folder Instances node, right-click the folders and delete them e. After we remove all instances, the public store can be removed For The second option is Adsiedit , but later in the event vierwer when exchange make the process offline by night , have errors about that no exists frontend replication servers. I didnt quite understand your meaning, what error do you have, can you post the detailed info?

Thaks Again James-LUo,In the frontends the server listed in theReplication tab isthe same one.In frontend 1 isfrontend 1 infrontend 2 isfrontend 2in frontend 1 i have pubic folders :-defaulr -exchangev1 -globalevents - schedule free busy -internal -internet newgrous -oab -oab v2 oab v3a -owascrachpad -schema root and store events in fronend2 i have : globalevents -internal -owascrachpad -storeevents.Notes:FEs [Procedure].Locate the public folder information store you want to designate as the Site Folder Server, by expanding the following: CN=<PublicFolderStoreName>, CN=<StorageGroupName>, CN=InformationStore, CN=<ServerName>, CN=Servers, CN=<AdministrativeGroupName> ,CN=Administrative Groups, CN=<OrganizationName>, CN=Microsoft Exchange, CN=Services, CN=Configuration,DC=<DomainName>,DC=com.i see with adsiedit that in th frontends "disthingedname" is the same one .and backenddisthingedname is the backendinExpand the Configuration container, and then expand CN=Administrative Groups,CN=<OrganizationName>,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=<DomainName>,DC=comthe siteFolderServer attribute is frontend 1(i think this is bad) .need i change this atributte, by backend pf?and later delete the public folder instances in frontend servers ? Regards. Your procedure is new to me .... thanks again...mcse 200 + mesaging

Yes, we need to change that, as the article said: without replicating these folders to another server and designating that server as the offline address book server, Outlook users will see problems with the offline address book and with free/busy data Please see the article below, the procedure in it will help: How to remove the first Exchange Server 2003 computer from the administrative group
