autoresponse from email container
Hello,
I am trying to figure out the best solution to enable the two users who monitor our incoming jobs inquiry email container to have autoresponse emails sent on behalf of the email containers address. Right now they must manually add a email template and click send for this to happen.
I've read a few things on automation with visual basic, third party apps, and maybe Outlook's autoresponse.
I'm really not sure on the best path, and the best practice for this. If you could point me in the right direction it would be most appreciated.
My users are up to Outlook 2007.Thanks ahead of time

We are talking about public folders? Or distribution groups? Or what do you mean by email container?A.

I am trying to set up an auto resonder to automaticaly respond to emails sent to jobs@mydomain.com. I need to find a way to have an autoresponse sent to anyone who sends email to the jobs address. To clarify I am referring tothe jobs mailbox that has been set upfor job inquiriesas the email container. This has been added after the factas anadditional mailbox in theusers email profile.

Thanks, but this is not a public folder it is a shared mailbox for jobs@mydomain.com that certain users have permissions too in order to monitor job responses. Public folders really isn;t an option at this time.
