calendar invitation sent from exchange 2003 recieved as plain text with an ICS attached to
hello
when sending an invitation to a person within a specific company, the recepient get the invitation as a plain text email with attached ICS file that contains the invitation.
both sides are using outlook 2007, and exchange 2003.
this only happens with this specific company, all other invitation sent are being received normaly (as a calander objects).
i've looked into the spam filer, mail relay logs, and found nothing.
is there any exchange settings that can cause such error?
Thanks!

If this happens only with one domain why do you assume the problem is
yours to solve? Maybe they have their clients set up to always read
mail as plain text! Or they may have some processing of messages that
changes the message format before it reaches their server.
This assumes, of course, that your organization isn't confgured to
always sent mail to that domain as plain text.
Depending on RTF message format between organizations is always a
risky business. Your attachments and the formatting in the message are
sent in a winmail.dat attachment. If that's removed the message may
appear to be only plain text.
