can't connect through rpc over https
When I test my connection with
https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/
I get the following error: The certificate chain could not be created.
You may be missing required intermediate CA certificates.
I have a DC with a certifcate authority, a w3k Server with Exchange2003 and a ISA2006 where I created a rule for rpc and owa
It worked already for a Year but after creating a new certificate and mooving the Server into a VM I can't connet with Outlook through rpc. OWA and ActiveSync runs fine.
Some one an idee?
Need somme help, please!

If you're using an internally-generated certificate, then TestExchangeConnectivity.com won't trust it.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Is the certificate authority is trusted by users using RPC over HTTP.
what error do you get when you try to connect though external client.
Please try force connecting HTTP over RPC internally, check if you get connect on HTTPS.Best Rgds, Ashish | Unified Comunication | MCTS | MCITP | Please remember to select option "Propose As Answer" if solution work for you | My posts hold no assurances, no promises, and they measured no rights.

Hi Out-user,
If you are using internal PKI certificate, your internally-generated certificate do not have a way of bypassing the trust requirement for TestExchangeConnectivity.com.
