can not manage public folder permission
Dear All
I migrate public folder from exchange 2003 to exchange 2010 ( not SP1) when I am not uninstall exchange 2003 I can used Exfolders to add permission to public folder. but now I already uninstall exchange 2003 out off system, when
I run ExFolder and connect to public folder on exchange 2010, it show error " An error occurred while trying to establish a connection to exchange server Exception: the active directroy user wasn't found"
how I can fix it

Can you check all PF database are mounted and there is no any issue. Error "An error occurred while trying to establish a connection to exchange server " indicates that something issue with sotre and server.

I already check on exchange 2010 server , all public folder already mount and work fine, but we have data only 1 public folder that replicate from exchange 2003

Dear All
I already clear first problem, I see on adsiedit , I found it have old exchange 2003 configuration still there, but on Server container ir emty, after I delete Server container, I can used exfolder to access public folder.but now I have
other problem, all public folder mail enable is can not send e-mail, when user send mail to pubblic folder it return error
"IMCEAEX-_O=mycompany_OU=mysite_CN=RECIPIENTS_CN=JOBS+5FVIRIYAH+2ECO+2ETH30F7EA244571A679A0E44DBD050469C10A1AA1@mycompany.com

I think go to adsiedit and see about property of public folder I see about lacacy maybe is wrong, and about public folder hiracery on exchange 2010 still pointe back to exchange 2003 configuration.

Please check problematic public folder’s attributes in the MESO container

I,m not sure I'm go to see record correct location, I used adsiedit and go to Configuration==>Service==>microsoft exchange ==>my company ==> administrative group ==> exchange administrative group ==> database ==>
public folder but for proxyaddress is not set and I can not find homeMDB I see only homeMDBBL

The attributes are in the mail-enabled public folder objects under the “Microsoft Exchange Security Objects” container. You can find
