cannot access my websites externally (OWA or remote) exchange 2003
HI I have exchange 2003 on SBS 2003 and I cannot access any website in IIS e.g. OWA, exchange, remote etc. when I type in https://remote.domain.co.uk or https://remote.domain.co.uk/owa I get 'internet explorer cannot display web page' even on firefox, it also doesnt work if i type in my public ip address. I can access them internally by typing servername\owa. I ran CEICW and it still didnt help. Please get back to me ASAP. Regards Mahesh

Hi Mahesh, This question might be better off in another forum as this is for Exchange Online (part of Microsoft Online Services). In any case there's a few things you need to check, however the first is to see if port 80 or 443 is open on your firewall and NAT'd through to your SBS. Hi Mahesh, Since remote feature and CEICW is component of SBS, I suggest you write the post in our SBS forum to get help from SBS experts: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/smallbusinessserver/threads Thanks, Elvis

Hello Mahesh: Make sure that your firewall has ports 80 and 443 open and is forwarding them to your SBS. Check both your hardware router, your windows firewall and any third party firewall applications that are running. To test this, log into a foreign host and at the command prompt type : telnet publicIPaddress 80 telnet publicipaddress 443 you should NOT receive a connection failed. If you do, then you have a firewall issue. CheersMiguel Fra / Falcon ITS Computer & Network Support, Miami, FL Visit our Knowledgebase Sharepoint Site

Since you are using your public DNS name and public IP address, I assume that you are trying this from a remote location? What happens if you try it from the LAN, using the server's private IP address?Outlook Web Access For PDA , OWA For WAP www.owa-pda.com email a@t leederbyshire d.0.t c.0.m
