Can you grab the title bar and drag the window so the upper right buttons are displayed?
Any/all of the things Shane mentioned should work, so it doesn't sound to me like it's a minimize/maximize issue....
no i cannot. the main excel window is maximised but the actual workbook i am working on is stuck in minimise and it is only the one work book and it has only recently started doing it. i have a screen shot but cant attach it.
I take it you can't even see a piece of it because if you can click on even its edge you can put the mouse near the top border and it will change to a two headed arrow and you can resize. And if you can even touch it the shortcut key I suggest will work. Ctrl+F10 works even if you can't select the file because if there is only one file open it is selected.
Here is another idea - right click the Windows desktop change the screen resolution to a higher one. How depends on what version of Windows you are using. Return to Excel and you should be able to see and size the file.
I may have solved my problem. I hope this will help pezacide. I created a new workbook and followed the instructions for copying a worksheet from one workbook to another. Even though my worksheet was originally only partially viewable, once it was in the new workbook it was completely visible. I have previously created three other workbooks without encountering this problem. But in this case I started with an Excel template. I suspect that's the source of the problem and I wonder if pezacide's problem is also due to using a template.
