I have tried to use the toolbox database recovery log file move but it is taking way to long to complete. It is roughly doing 1 file every 6 minutes and I have 88000 files to move. I am planning until my tivoli agent gets shipped to do an ntbackup but I don't know if I need to do it to the active side of the cluster and the log file replication will take care of the other side or if I need to backup both sides. Moving only 1 file every 6th minute is not normal it should be a lot faster. When doing backups of a CCR cluster you must use a VSS capable software and NTBackup has no VSS support for Exchange. When you have a VSS backup software you would prefferable backup the passive node, logfiles will be purged on both node correctly. If you dare you can use DPM V2 for backup of Exchange 2007 CCR backup. http://www.microsoft.com/systemcenter/dpm/default.mspx DPM is still in Beta but its doing a great job on Exchange.
