certificate error installing outlook 2013

I'm trying to install Outlook 2013, when I'm trough filling in it keeps saying, trouble with security certificate from server.

I've changed time to Melbourne time since the server is in Australia and I am in Europe.

Any one any suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi,

Changing time at your computer will not affect any certificate problems with a server.

First, when you get a certificate error - you can use the button "View Certificate" to find out what's wrong specifically, is it expired or has wrong names, etc. This you can use to talk to technical support about.

Second: The certificate alert you receive originates from the server, and can be fixed only there by someone who has administrative permissions on the server. There is nothing a user can do about it.

So you'd better talk to Support of the services you're trying to reach to.

Hi mar195,

As additional to MaxMCSE, I want to double confirm two points:
1. When are you get this error, install Outlook software or create an Outlook profile?
2. Which type are you used for Outlook, Exchange, POP3, IMAP4?

By default in Exchange 2013, all Outlook connectivity takes place via Outlook Anywhere. The only post-deployment task you must perform to successfully use Outlook Anywhere is to install a valid SSL certificate on your Client Access server. More details about Outlook Anywhere and Certificate for Outlook Anywhere, please refer to:
