change ip on scr server
i moved our exchange 2007 scr DR server from outer office back to our HQ. i need to change the ip address to work on our network scheme here in our HQ.
is it as simple as following this article here, even though i dont have a clustered environment?
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997813%28EXCHG.65%29.aspx
stop exchange services
change ip address/subnet/gateway/dns/etc
register new ip address with dns
start exchange services
if not, what is there documentation that i can refer to assist me?
we have one exch 07 server in production in our HQ running:
Edge Transport Hub Transport Client Access Mailbox
we have SCR setup with this other server that was in our remote office for DR purposes only that we have moved back to our HQ temporarily until we finalize a co-location and move it to there.

Yeah pretty much, IP changes for an Exchange server are not as difficult or as scary as people think it is. Just follow that article, and update DNS thats basically it.James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com
