I recently changed a work laptop from a domain to a workgroup, and didn't write down the information ( domain name ). Now I want to change it back for work on Monday and don't have the correct domain name. Is there anywhere on the computer that it might still be. The OS is XP Pro. I even tried a sys restore and for some reason it wouldn't let me. Is this because there is no contact with the DC? PLEASE HELP
