copy of emails saved on exchange
hi, when emails are sent from exchanged, does exchange saved a copy of that email? thanks.

Hi, Exchange as such does not save a copy of e-mails when they are send. This means that if you have an application that uses Exchange as a relay server no copies will be saved. If you send an email from Outlook / OWA / ActiveSync a copy will be saved in the users sent items folder. Leif

By default, Outlook keeps a copy of messages that you send in the Sent Items folder. And here is another post for reference. Have a check.Noya Lau TechNet Community Support
