The SMTP connector is for outbound mail, so DynDNS doesn't apply.
In Windows 2008 R2 you can install the SMTP Server feature and configure it to relay all mail to the Exchange server. You can configure the Expiration Timeout setting as you want to control how long it holds messages trying to send them to
Exchange, i.e., now long an Exchange Server unavailability period you want to tolerate, and the Delay Notification setting to let senders know about the delay.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

You can use the smtp feature on windows 2008 R2 like Ed say. But i think you can also consider to use the isp'server as a smart host or directly publish your exchange to the internet.
hope can help you

hello,
i installed smtp service and i setup to work with port 8080, i set exchange 2010 send connector with it and the emails sent.
how i can make the exchange must be authenticate using user name and password to work with smtp?
how i can make this smtp recive the emails then forward it to local exchange server, how i can set the long time to save it if the exchange down.
thanks.

Port 8080? No Internet mailer will use that port. The Internet knows only port 25.
If you require Exchange to authenticate SMTP, then nobody on the Internet will be able to send you mail. You should configure Exchange to require authentication to relay, and there are plenty of articles that any of the Internet's search engines can
find for you.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

i have a local exchange 2010 that is is not publish over the internet.
to send external emails i use dyn standerd smtp "all port of them is blocked now"
to get email i use dyn email getway service that relay them email to your local system so i enter thier mx recored for my external domain and creat a reciver connector on my exchange 2010
that is it.
now i have a vps so i want to send and relay email thoruge it.
to send email its work with this ports 8080,25,465,587,2525 but i want the excahnge authenticate to send email througe it so how i can do it?
also to relay email like dyn what i have to do too?
thanks.

You would need to ask the folks at DynDNS how they do it.
Port 587 is the client submission receive connector, and that one requires authentication by default.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

hello,
as i think that i should enable an authentication methode on smtp server ! becuse there is nothing will change if i make it run on other port !
thanks.

You can configure the Default receive connector, which uses port 25, to authenticate. That will require any SMTP host that communicates with your server to authenticate. Does your DynDNS service authenticate? In general Internet SMTP mailflow
is not authenticated becuase it simply isn't practical for everyone to assign user IDs and passwords to every other SMTP server on the Internet.
