no just remove, if you have the new cert, then assign that to SMTP then remove the old oneSukh

Hi Iam trying to Disable the exchange certificate coz its experied. and i need to installed a new certificate and i dnt know how to go about these can some one please urgently assist me. Thank you.

which version of exchange and what is the cert used for? Is it a self signged, internal CA or 3rd party? Sukh

Hi Sukh, these are the below info if these help you to assist me CertificateDomain: {Exch02, exch02.Panel.local} Has PrivateKey: True IsSelfSigned:True Iusser:Cn=Exch02 SerialNumber:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Services:SMTP Status:Invalid this is the error keeps coming "Security Alert" Information you exchange with the site cannot be viewed or changed by other. however, there is a problem with the site's security certificate. and has the three different notes 1. the security certificate is from a trusted certifying authority (has a tick beside) 2. the security certificate date is valid (has a tick beside) 3. the name on the security certificate in valid or does not match the name of the site. (red X beside) Do you want to procees? Yes /No/ View Certificate. We are using the exchange 2007

Where do you get this cert error? That cert says invalid What do you get when you run Get-ExchangeCertificate | flSukh

this error just pops up now an then on the windows. when i run the cmd: Get-ExchangeCertificate | fl i get list of the certificate showing valid and invalid- the one experied we want to disable that on ecoz we have the new certificate inplace. we just want to disable the invalid one.
