disable outgoing mail from specific domain
Exchange 2007 in CCR (2) mailbox servers (1) CAS/HUB. AD2003We have (2) domains. @oucom.ohiou.edu and @exchange.oucom.ohiou.edu. @exchange.oucom.ohiou.edu is a legacy domain that we need to continue to receive email for, but we don't send from that domain. How can restrict the email servers from ever sending messages from that legacy domain?Eric Running Exchange 2007 in CCR (2) mailbox servers with (1) CAS/HUB Server. AD 2003.

Hi,Please check if@oucom.ohiou.edu has been set as default.(Oraganization Configuration-Hub Transport-Accept domain). Then please check if @oucom.ohiou.edu has been set as primary email address(click on "Set as reply").With that configuration user will automatically use @oucom.ohiou.edu to send email. When reciever reply the email,it will automatically use account with @oucom.ohiou.edu.Regards,Xiu

Thanks for the explanation about it, Xiu. I though Eric would have already configured the EAP for the scenario mentioned.Amit Tank || MVP - Exchange || MCITP - Exchange 2007 || http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
