Hi You can use message tracking and type in the email address and make a search, it exists the user that have it will appear, if it doesn't exist you will be prompted with that. How can I differentiate whether he really worked there before but left in the middle of the period V.S he never worked in the organization before? Is there any difference in the responses i get from the system once I send the e-mails of which I am not sure whether it existed in the organization's system but got deleted or he never worked in the organization? When emailing an outside organization, there is no way of telling if this was a valid email in the past or not. The fact that you got an error saying "user unknown" is about as much info as you are going to get.
