Hi,

I installed a new W7 Prof x64 client with Office 2007 (Without Outlook) and with Lotun Notes (set default e-mail client)

When I wanted to make a new circular mail from Word, under Mailing Menu --> Comlete section -->Complete and Merge/Send e-mails" is inactive. After I tried to click on a website to a mailto:.... link, and IE crashed, openet a lot of times an error message:

"The operation can not be performed because the default mail client is not properly installed"

I tried

- Reinstall Lotud notes client

- Set again Lotus Notes to default mail client in the client

- On Control Panel: Default programs

How could I assign this to my Lotus Notes client yet?

Based on my knowledge, the mail merge feature may not support some 3rd-party mail clients, as I'm not familiar with the one you are using, I may not provide the accurate suggestions.

For the issue that the email client cannot be set as default, I suggest you contact the provider of this tool to get more dedicated assistance.
