email address cache
dear all,
I use outlook 2007 (outlook anywhere ) and exchange 2010. when I close and restart the outlook 2007, the cache of email address disappeard.
How to fix the problem?

Does this happen with all user on different PC or with the same user on a different PC?

When you say the "cache of email addresses" do you mean the e-mail addresses that you have used previously and that show up when you start to type a name in the To or Cc fields?
Those are stored in the user's roaming profile in a file with the extension NK2. Take a look at this KB for a bit more information.

hi,
I also think you are talking about the NK2. After you restart your outlook, and manually enter a mail address to send a mail, if you send a mail to the address again. Can you see the cache?
If we are wrong.
Please describe your problem more detail.

Seems like something is clearing out the N2K file, do you use any GPO/Script which deletes the profile or in particular that file?
After you logoff OLK, see if that N2K still exists or not?Sukh
